When launching a business of any size, it might be difficult to figure out where to start, how to target your audience and which tricks to use. Online marketing is very important in today’s society, and social media can get you a long way – mostly for free.

In order to make the decisions a bit easier for you and your business, we have created this article where we are going to introduce you to some great advertising tips for your business. Hopefully, these tips and tricks will make it easier for you to decide which strategies fit your brand. We believe that these tips will be useful for any business, whether it is a new online casino or an independent clothing brand.

Social media – an introduction

Social media is the most influential and important space to be present these days. It enables businesses to network with other brands, create a strong brand identity and digitally advertise their products and services. A modern business simply cannot miss the opportunity to use social media as a marketing tool, as that’s precisely where the majority of consumers are. Furthermore, any business that wants to reach Millennial and Gen Z consumers should definitely rely on social media. Besides, these two generations are the generations with the most purchasing power, so it is for sure worth it.

When using social media as a marketing platform, it is important to remember that it is not enough to simply pay for a boost on one of your posts. Instead, you need to ensure that you regularly post quality content, comment on others’ material and stay up to date with the latest trends.

Instagram marketing

Instagram became a great marketing tool where a business can boost their stories and posts. But, as mentioned earlier, that is not enough on its own. Boosting your content is a great start, but what you choose to post and how often you choose to do it is just as important. Creating a business profile on platforms like Instagram will enable your current and potential customers to understand who you are as a brand, what you offer and who is behind your business. It will also allow you to establish your brand’s tone of voice. Of course, here, consistency is key. Consistency does not mean that you cannot vary your content. Instead, it simply means that you need to ensure that all of your content has the same theme and vibe.

Instagram’s algorithm is one of the reasons why this platform is a great marketing tool. It is therefore important that you understand and use the algorithm to your advantage. Hashtags and geotags are important to use when you want to make yourself noticed on Instagram. You might have thought that hashtags are out of date, but the truth is that this is a great tool to use to stay connected and reach out to consumers and users that may be interested in the specific content you create. Also, make sure you rely on organic hashtags that reflect your post, products and services and not only the trending ones.

Facebook marketing

Facebook marketing is a lot similar to Instagram marketing, as the Meta rebranding has made it easy for brands to post on both Instagram and Facebook at the same time. Although many brands still like to produce different content for the two platforms, you could easily spend half the time on content creation by posting the same posts on both platforms. However, you are the one who knows your customers best, and if you feel like you have a different audience on Facebook than you have on Instagram, you should – of course – keep creating different content for the two platforms. You can also create a single piece of content and just tweak it to suit a specific platform.

LinkedIn marketing

LinkedIn is the last platform we will introduce today. This platform is more professional and business-oriented. This is a great platform to present your products and services to other business people, supporters, and investors and create a great network of supporters and customers. Post about what your business is doing at the moment, bumps in the road you’ve encountered and generally the rollercoaster that the whole experience has been. Market yourself by being on the same page as the rest of the employees and business owners around the world. Show who you are and what your business has to offer to the world.
