Technology has come a long way since the first days of Google. Now, there’s tech everywhere you turn, even in daily business operations. From running payroll to keeping accurate track of drivers, tech should be a part of everyone’s business plan. You probably already follow non-negotiable money rules for your business but making sure your tech is compliant matters just as much. If you’ve been wondering whether your organization is running the latest types of tech, this guide is for you. Read on to learn about the four types of technology you should be using.

Artificial Intelligence

AI has single-handedly made doing business far more manageable than it was in the past. It can be used to streamline just about anything you want it to. There are many types of AI, but self-learning is one of the most common. Self-learning AI is a form of artificial intelligence that educates itself using pre-existing data. Implementing AI also comes with a variety of benefits:

It can boost the production speed
Provide better customer service
Improve efficiency
Boost profit margins
Lower the risk of making mistakes

Remember that adding AI into your business isn’t exactly the cheapest expense. In fact, it’s an investment, but it’s certainly one dedicating your funds towards.

Employee Monitoring

Knowing how your employees perform their job can save you thousands each year. Without it, you might be paying the wrong people for work they really aren’t doing. If you’re managing your fleet and notice that something is off. You may see that some of your drivers are slower than others or they’ve lingered in one spot for too long. A great way to keep more tabs on them is to invest in telematics. Telematics is another one of those things that saw a huge surge in usage since the internet evolved. In terms of fleet management, telematics refers to maintaining a watchful eye on any cars and trucks you have in your fleet by using GPS technology. It also uses a vehicle’s OBD system to gather the necessary data.

Onboarding Tools

How we work, in addition to how we bring on new hires has changed a lot. The pandemic forced managers to fund alternative ways to hire and onboard new employees. Remote onboarding practices are now the norm, and it’s only going to continue to expand. Employers need to find new ways to entice new talent and then train them remotely. With so much focus on quiet quitting, being able to work from home is what most people are looking for. Be prepared to offer things like a laptop for small business, ergonomic office chairs, and AV equipment to your employees to make their work from home experience both desirable and productive.

Social Media

Perhaps the most innovative way to make your business more tech compliant is to take to social media. Social media used to be considered as a mere outlet for people to post their pictures and talk about their experiences. But ever since COVID-19, social media has become one of the most useful tools for business owners. Not only does it help you market yourself better, it’s far easier to interact with your target audience. Furthermore, you’ll also be able to more effectively research ongoing trends within your designated niche, so you can give yourself a competitive edge. The best platforms to use right now are TikTok and Instagram.
