Age UK Lambeth has launched its Christmas fundraising campaign ‘Say No to Socks, Get a Gift You’ll Remember’ to help support older individuals in the community. The campaign comes as a response to the ‘cost of living crisis’ which has hit the older population particularly hard. 24% of older Londoners live in poverty, with 58% of people in fuel poverty over the age of 60 (Age UK London, 2022).
