How a Son’s Love, a Mother’s Strength, and a Passion for Helping Others Shaped a Career in Public Advocacy and Financial Guidance

Jarryd Kyle Ageloff’s story isn’t just about success—it’s about surviving the hard parts. It’s about family, responsibility, resilience, and turning pain into purpose.

Born on April 18, 1989, in Livingston, New Jersey, Jarryd grew up in West Orange before his family moved to Boca Raton, Florida, when he was six. His early life was marked by a challenge few children face—his mother, Dale Ageloff, battled multiple sclerosis. She lost the ability to walk when Jarryd was young, yet she never lost her spirit.

“She was the most positive person I’ve ever known,” Jarryd says. “She believed she’d walk again someday. She smiled every single day, even when she was in pain.”

Dale’s strength left a lasting impression on both Jarryd and his brother, Brandon. Together, they helped care for her, adapting to a life most teens wouldn’t understand. Despite the circumstances, Jarryd thrived academically, graduating high school with a 4.0 GPA and going on to earn his associate’s degree from Tallahassee Community College before transferring to Florida State University. There, he pursued a degree in Business and Hospitality Management.

But just as he was finishing college, tragedy struck.

“In my last semester at FSU, my mom passed away,” he says. “I never got to say goodbye. That’s still the hardest part.”

His mother’s death left a hole in his heart, but it also became a turning point. Jarryd had seen what it meant to serve others through his mother’s example—how she’d help strangers, stay strong for her boys, and smile through it all. That legacy shaped what came next.

From Claims to Care: A Career Built on Advocacy

After college, Jarryd moved through various roles in Florida, starting with Bison Roofing in Jacksonville. Later, he relocated to Orlando, eventually becoming a licensed public adjuster in 2017. Representing thousands of property insurance claims, he found his niche in standing up for people when insurance companies didn’t.

“I got a lot of satisfaction helping people when insurance companies tried to short-change them,” he explains. “These families were vulnerable. They were going through hard times, and I knew how that felt.”

A New Chapter: Guiding Families Toward Financial Security

More recently, Jarryd has expanded his mission of service into the financial world. Now a licensed financial advisor, he helps families plan for the future—especially for retirement. He holds licenses in life insurance and annuities across nearly every U.S. state, and also carries Series 6 and 63 licenses, allowing him to sell securities like stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Currently, he’s preparing for his Series 7 to deepen his ability to guide clients through long-term investment strategies.

“My goal is simple,” Jarryd says. “To help one family at a time to protect their future. Whether it’s through life insurance or building a retirement plan, I want people to feel secure.”

The transition from public adjuster to financial advisor wasn’t a big leap—it was a natural next step. In both roles, Jarryd advocates for people who may not understand the systems they’re navigating. Whether it’s a confusing insurance policy or a complex retirement portfolio, he’s there to help.

“I’ve been in those shoes—trying to make sense of things no one teaches you growing up,” he says. “I want to be the guy families trust when the stakes are high.”

Family First, Always

Today, Jarryd is married to the love of his life, Marina Ageloff, who worked with the Berman Law Group. Together, they’re raising their son Caio, their 9-month old son Logan, and daughter Alice Dale—named in memory of his mother.

“I wish she could’ve met them,” Jarryd reflects. “Especially Alice Dale. I see my mom’s spirit in her every day.”

He credits much of his success to his brother, Brandon, who stood by him through every chapter. “Brandon’s been my rock,” he says. “We didn’t have it easy growing up, but we had each other. That made all the difference.”

The Road Ahead

Whether representing homeowners, guiding clients toward financial wellness, or raising a family rooted in love and legacy, Jarryd Ageloff continues to live a life of impact.

“My mom taught me something I’ll never forget—show up for others, even when you’re struggling yourself,” he says. “I try to carry that lesson in every part of my work.”

From Boca Raton to Tallahassee to living rooms across the country, Jarryd is helping people rebuild, recover, and plan. One claim, one investment, and one family at a time.
