During 2013, Beard began LendingExpert.co.uk, a price comparison site for a variety of different financial products. Currently, the site compares more than 200 products, offered from hundreds of providers from across the U.K., comparing credit cards, personal loans, mortgages, bank accounts, savings accounts and more.
What’s the Best Thing About Being Your Own Boss?
Since leaving his financial services job in 2013, Manchester-based David Beard started up the successful price comparison site Lending Expert. When asked what the best thing is about being your own boss, Beard explains:
“There are lots of perks of being your own boss, whether it is being able to spend more time with your family or being able to run freely with some of your own ideas and decisions.”
After working for himself for the past 8 years, Beard says “I have met some excellent people and created some great partnerships and look forward to what the future holds. We are working on a redesign and rolling out some new products which I am very excited about.”
