Crowdfunding marketing specialist agency TribeFirst has announced the appointment of James Littman as its new Managing Director.

James spent over 15 years at Daisy Chain Media working as a TV producer and director on a range of popular programmes including X Factor, The Island with Bear Grylls, Four in a Bed, and Dispatches. He was initially recruited to TribeFirst as a Campaign Manager last year. Since joining the business, he has been a driving force behind its creative offering, enhancing client pitch videos and TribeFirst’s own website which has been transformed into a go-to resource within the UK’s start-up ecosystem.

As Managing Director, James will focus on TribeFirst’s operational activities, industry partnerships, and product development. He takes over from Ben Moser who remains within the agency in a new business development-focused role as its Sales Director.

Launched in 2015 to make a positive social impact by helping revolutionary businesses thrive, TribeFirst has now built a global client base working with start-ups from a broad range of ESG-focused companies behind sustainable innovations, life-changing technology, FinTech, and FMCGs. Its client roster includes ethical cleaning brand Nimble; vegan restaurant chain Ready Burger; blind mobility innovators WeWalk; and UK-based aquaculture business Seafields.

Commenting on the new appointments, TribeFirst founder and serial entrepreneur John Auckland said: “I’m delighted to welcome James as our new Managing Director. Since joining TribeFirst he has made a huge contribution in further developing our creative offering, both for our clients and for our own business, and will now continue to play a key role in taking us forward.

“I would also like to thank Ben for his immense contribution over the past 18 months. In his new position as Sales Director, he will utilise his vast skills and experience in a business development role where he will lead the growth of the agency.”
