YogaEasy and EkhartYoga have announced they are joining forces to increase access to high-quality online yoga. Together, they will provide more than 5,000 yoga and meditation videos in both German and English, with over 80 teachers. The alliance also promises a new bilingual app offering English and German content.
Founded in 2010, YogaEasy was Germany’s first online yoga studio and boasts renowned teachers such as Anna Trökes, Dr. Ronald Steiner and Nicole Bongartz. EkhartYoga, based in Amsterdam since 2008, is well known across Europe for its English videos, featuring expert teachers David Lurey, Tashi Dawa and Katy Appleton. Both studios provide professionally produced classes in a variety of styles, honouring the philosophy of yoga.
YogaEasy founder Dr. Henrike Fröchling said: “We have decided to join forces with EkhartYoga as we share the same principles regarding content quality and teacher respect. I’m looking forward to broadening our reach to the English-speaking market and to further developing our vision of creating the best online yoga experience.”
EkhartYoga founder Esther Ekhart added: “I’m thrilled to collaborate with YogaEasy and provide more people with the opportunity to experience the beauty and transformational power of yoga. I’m excited to see what we can bring to the yoga world through this growing family.”
The process was supported by Quantum Partners in Munich.
