The past month has been progressive in the vegan world as UK based VBazaar officially launches for customers.
VBazaar, a cruelty-free, one-stop vegan only marketplace, launched at the end of August profiling business owners solely in the vegan space who can list and sell their products directly for a nominal fee, to the vegan community.
Customers have the joy of shopping without explanation or the fear of their products being lost amidst non-vegan options. With over 300 hundred products already listed from 50 vendors, VBazaar is now one of the largest marketplaces for vegan-friendly shopping.
Customers can choose anything from hair care products to supplements and clothing safe in the knowledge that the owners of the independent businesses share the exact same values and lifestyle as they do and only wish to #shopkind
Three years in the making, Founder and MD, Alan Morgan spoke about the launch:
‘Whilst the work that many brands are doing to incorporate the vegan lifestyle in their stores, it is still distressing for fellow vegans to have to shop online or in stores that still sell animal products.
‘At VBazaar it’s been our dream to take that stress away and instead, create a calm online shopping site which celebrates our lifestyle choice, becoming a place of further information, community and kindness as well as making veganism easy for others to adopt.

In conjunction with the launch, VBazaar are excited to announce their collaboration with the Vegan Trademark.
Not only will the Vegan Society’s all-essential VEG 1 supplement be available for purchase from VBazaar, the two powers for good in the vegan world have collaborated to provide half price selling fees for Vegan Trademark Holders and exclusive discounts for VBazaar vendors not already registered with the Vegan Trademark.

Every year, thousands of Brits sign up for the Veganuary campaign – a pledge to embrace plant-based diets for the whole month of January. 2021 saw a record smashing 500,000 people, of which 125,000 based in the UK, take the Veganuary pledge. Post all of the covid healthy marketing, this number is up by 100,000 on 2020, and it’s actually double the number of people who signed up for Veganuary in 2019. If the movement keeps growing exponentially at this rate the Vegan Society are well on their way with their mission and VBazaar are right up with them.
